Welcome To Vert New York! We're crazy for jewelry-and always have been. The perfect pair of chandelier earrings? We've got them. A classic colorful beaded necklace. It's at the top of our list for 2006. From the time we were kids demanding that our mother let us pierce our ears, it seems we made it our goal to adorn ourselves with the latest and greatest looks. The problem was, we couldn't always find the pieces we really loved. Like most women we were-and still are-suckers for a good fashion magazine, and the jewelry that excited us in those pages wasn't always what we could find at the local jeweler or mall. And forget about jewelry catalogs and web sites, they were so uninspired! We knew there was a wide world of beautiful and fashionable jewelry out there, and it was our mission to find it. And find it we did. In New York, in L.A., and all over the world. There are amazing boutique jewelers working everywhere, inspired little ateliers creating the most gorgeous hand-crafted jewelry. And we're not talking chunky silver and turquoise pieces here, we're talking elegant, sophisticated designs that are exquisitely made and in sync with the latest fashions. Now these are the pieces we were looking for, and now we want to bring them to you. Vert was born to gather all of these pieces in one lush and beautiful place. After fifteen years of working in the jewelry industry-and a family history in the business that dates even further back-we decided it was time to turn this passion into an experience that makes shopping for jewelry incredibly exciting and unbelievably easy. From the season's hottest looks to the classic items that form the foundation of every woman's jewelry box, Vert is a definitive collection of our favorite pieces from the best jewelry designers working today.
